Program Notes

Game Length: 30 minutes per game

Warm-Up Time: 5 minutes

Arrival: Players should arrive 15 minutes before their scheduled game time

Focus: Fundamentals, teamwork, and fun competition!

Uniforms: Provided at Jr. NBA Draft Days

Team Size: 10 players per team, 4 teams per division

Inclement Weather Policy

In the event of inclement weather, the League administration will make a decision whether or not to hold practice or play the game. Coaches or other school officials cannot alter these instructions.

Automatic Cancellations: Activities will be automatically canceled if the area is under a severe weather warning.

Severe Weather Watch: League administrators will use discretion to decide if activities proceed.

Communication of Cancellations:

The coach will use their primary mode of communication to inform athletes and parents of cancellations.

League administration will send an email to notify parents.

The session calendar will be updated with the cancellation.

Make-Up Policy:

Make-up practices will be scheduled at the discretion of the head coach, in consultation with League administration.

Make-up games are not guaranteed due to scheduling constraints.

Refund Policy

No Refunds: Once the deposit or full registration fee is paid, no refunds are given.

Credit for Future Sessions: In cases of injury, illness, or other emergencies, written notification must be provided two weeks prior to the tournament for consideration of a credit toward a future session (minus the deposit).

COVID-19/Other Emergencies: In the case of disruptions due to COVID-19 or other virus-related events, credits will be offered for future sessions in 2026.

Western Mass Youth Sports Inc. – Spectator Fee Policy

Effective: 1/1/2025 - 1/1/2027

A $5 spectator fee applies to all individuals attending games (children under 2 are free).

Fees support the operational costs of the league and programs.

Fees are collected at the entrance; cash and electronic payments accepted.
